Premium soft leather with fine finished edges for ultimate longevity. This is among our most complex pieces that requires artisans in both beading and leather finishing alternating phases to completion. Adjustable straps at back and dual center belts enable a gorgeous fit.
This pieces is named after Anne Lister- a 19th-century British landowner and diarist, who is renowned for her pioneering efforts in LGBTQ+ history. Known as the “first modern lesbian,” Lister’s detailed diaries, containing over four million words, documented her personal life, business acumen, and romantic relationships with women. Muscular and androgynous in appearance, she dressed only in black. Her interests in medicine, mathematics, landscaping, mining, railways, and canals led her to become an entrepreneur, earning her several sources of income, with which she funded many extensive travels in Europe. Her fearless self-expression and defiance of societal norms continue to inspire entire generations.
